Everyday makeup

Hello everyone!

Today I'm going to be writing about my everyday makeup!

Firstly, I just thought I would show you where I keep my everyday makeup. My makeup bag is from Claire's, I'm not too sure how much it is as it was a gift from a while ago. I love the vintage design and the colours are very pretty!

If I want a bit of coverage on my face, I will use my Maybelline BB cream in light. This BB cream blends really nicely on my skin, and makes my skin look lovely and fresh! It doesn't have amazing coverage as it is a BB cream, however if you want something light on your face (especially for the summer) this product is perfect. It has SPF 15, and claims to be an 8-in-1 BB cream. This product is £6.99 from boots, and most other drugstores.

After I have applied my BB cream, I move onto concealer. Now this product is a hugely raved about on blogs and YouTube, and I love it as much as everybody else! The Collection Lasting Perfection concealer is perfect for covering dark circles/blemishes as it is super high coverage and lasts all day. It can be bought from the drugstore and is only around £4. The only downside is that the packaging wears off quickly, but that isn't really a problem as the product itself is amazing! I would definitely re-purchase.

To set my face makeup I use my MUA pressed powder in the shade 2. I think this powder does the job well, however sometimes I do have to re-apply throughout the day as it doesn't keep your face staying matte for a long period of time. It only cost £1 from Superdrug so it would be ideal if you are beginning with makeup and want to try out a powder for the first time. I must say that I would not re-purchase, as I want to try out different brands too.

Then, to add a bit of colour to my cheeks, I use my Natural Collection blush in Peach Melba. This blush is a pretty rose pink colour, and just adds some warmth to your face. It is well pigmented, and leaves your cheeks looking beautiful. I would recommend this product as it is only £1.99 and is a really nice everyday colour. The only downside is that mine smashed a while ago so it is a bit tricky to use, however when I am careful, it is fine to use and apply.

For eyes I use the Collection Extreme 24 Felt Tip Eyeliner in black. It has a felt tip meaning it is easy and quick to use, along with thin pointed tip, which helps to create a precise line. Another thing is that the lasting power is great! If I apply it in the morning it will last all day without smudging or losing its colour and turning slightly grey. I really do recommend it as it is from the drugstore for only £2.99.

Lastly for the eyes I apply my Maybelline the Rocket mascara to my top and bottom lashes. I recently just purchased this and I love how it gives your lashes length and volume at the same time, without being too clumpy. When I first used it, I did find it slightly difficult to make sure that my lashes were all stuck together, as the wand is large and can be hard to use, but now that I am used to using this mascara, I just apply one or two coats and everything is fine! I must also mention that this mascara lasts all day and doesn't fall down your face during the day, which is brilliant! At a price of £7.99, I do think this is slightly expensive for a drugstore mascara, however I think it is worth the money.

Finally to keep my lips moisturised all day I apply my Nivea Hydro care lip balm, as it keeps my lips hydrated and has a lovely scent!

Thank you for reading this post, and please stay tuned for my next one.

Introduction

Hello everyone!

I thought I would tell you a bit about myself and my blog as a little introduction. I enjoy reading many other beauty and fashion blogs, which has given me a lot of inspiration to create my own blog and write about everything beauty and fashion related, in which I love. I wanted to make a blog so I can share with you many different makeup posts, outfit ideas and fun things, like tags.

I spend a lot of my time posting on my Instagram (@chloe_006), as I love photography and editing! You could also say I am slightly obsessed with youtube as I am almost always on my laptop watching videos.

I would appreciate if you could comment any requests or suggestions for future posts.

I hope you will enjoy reading my blog, and I hope to write again very soon!
